A good friend of mine had been telling me about this one spot in the city that I have never heard about, the High Line, for months and I finally found the time to make the trip with him. The High Line is a freight rail line that has been turned into a public park. It starts from Gansevoort Street in the Meatpacking District and stretches up to West 34th Street, between 10th and 11th. We walked from one end to the other, just taking in all the beauty around and splendor of the different people passing us by. There were also delicious looking food stands that I will be sure to try the next time I go back. (If only I hadn't ordered the delicious Hong Kong style milk tea from Cha Chan Tang down in Chinatown on Mott Street!)
